Dough
Spelt flour
300g
Butter
120g
Egg

Yolk
2 pieces
Sweetener
equivalent to 120g of sugar (stevia, erythritol...)

Curd Filling
Curd cheese
500g
Egg
2 pieces
Cherries
250g (pitted)
Sweetener
Poppy seed Filling
Poppy
100g
White
4 kusy
Ground cinnamon
2 tsp.
Sweetener
Milk
4- 6 tbsp.
Preparation process
  1. Mix the dry ingredients for the dough, add butter and make the crumb.
  2. Add eggs, egg yolks and make the dough. Let it rest for 20 min.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the curd filling by mixing all the ingredients.
  4. Roll out the dough and press on the bottom and edges of the mold (Ø = 28cm), then pierce the dough with a fork.
  5. Lay pitted cherries on the top of cake and pour on them the curd filling.
  6. Mix all the dry ingredients for the „poppy seed filling“ and add the whipped egg whites (if the mixture is too stiff you may add milk).
  7. Carefully spread the poppy seed filling on the curd mixture and bake for about 35-45 minutes. At 180 °C.
